On top of that, women traditionally handle more at home, take on major roles in parenting, and frequently volunteer. It’s a cycle that spins selflessly, yet perpetually.
These external expectations creep into office life too. Many women end up laden with additional tasks—the kind that flies under the radar but crucially keeps an office ticking. Meeting coordination, morale-boosting efforts, and various administrative duties don’t just happen by magic. They require attention and dedication, often from women whose positions demand so much already.
